In order to achieve the goal of carbon emission reduction, one of China’s largest energy companies-State Grid announced its own “carbon peak and carbon neutral” action plan on March 1. The State Grid Corporation’s transition to carbon neutrality, in a sense, is also related to the progress of China’s overall “carbon peak and carbon neutral” mission. The key to achieving carbon neutrality lies in the transformation of fossil energy, which accounts for 85% of carbon emissions to clean energy. This indicates that hydrogen energy, as the first clean energy source, is expected to be fully commercialized.
